Flooded Nebraska nuclear plant raises broader disaster fears

A catastrophe as bad as Fukushima.

The floods in the US state of NEBRASKA caused the Missouri River to overflow and the waters also flooded the plant in Fort Calhoun, causing water contaminated with radioactivity to leak from the nuclear plant. In addition, a fire also occurred in the cooling chamber.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) even suspended flights over that region.

The plant is now under a level 4 emergency.
