Apparently, Pope Francis is trying to "clean up" the Vatican, trying to combat corruption and the Vatican's connections with the Mafia.
For this reason, there is a possibility that you could be the target of an attack by the Calabrian Mafia.

I can imagine two possibilities in this case:
1. The Church may want to divert attention from the pedophilia cases and return to having an image of a "victim" and the Pope will be the target of a staged attack and escape with his life (similar to Pope John Paul II).
The Vatican, with this new Pope, more friendly and humble, has renewed its image and is captivating more and more faithful.
2nd Hypothesis: Pope Francis may be sincere and in fact be committed to cleaning up the Church (hopefully he will also combat pedophilia), but he will make enemies, and I bet it won't even be the Mafia; his biggest enemies are those who live inside the Vatican.
That's how they assassinated Pope John Paul I, who also tried to combat corruption within the Church.
