This robot is only for "play". Any millionaire could buy it and get inside it to maneuver it. It can travel at about 10 km/hour. The weapons are just for show. It is not a war machine. However, many things in the world started out as simple games and then became serious.
If the Japanese can make these toy robots, the Japanese army will certainly be able to mass-produce identical robots to use as weapons if they so wish.
The Japanese already have the technology and capabilities at their disposal.
